From rattling barriers at my first show to closing Falls Festival, to selling out a theatre on my EP tour, the crowd in Tasmania is really like no other. When we scoped ideas for where to hold The Promised Lands, I couldn’t get past the idea of Tasmania – the love, the memories, and the hard sweaty bass is what The Promised Lands is all about. So, introducing the event in Tassie is my way of saying, “HEY I LOVE YOU” to the constant support those Hellraisers show me. Sometimes Hobart misses out, and that’s not what I’m about – I’ve handpicked some seriously talented friends to play and really rattle them diemens from the corners of your soul.
